We arrived safe and sound in beautiful (but unseasonally freezing) Paris last week, and met up with Lana's parents for a week in a Paris apartment.
Aside from the less than ideal weather we had a great time, plenty of walking was to be had around the city, as was some good French steak which balanced the other out, and seeing all the spring flowers. We ensured that the Parisian boulangeries and patisseries never had to feel the pain of having leftover goods at the end of the day, and we needed the energy to make it through the hoards of tourists anyway. It was nice to be able to get out of the city for 2 days for our bike tours of Monet's garden and the palace of Versailles which were both excellent, and was nice just relaxing at the apartment too.
Next stop southern France!
